Professor Falconer’s research focuses on preparation and characterization of zeolite membranes, photocatalysis, molecular layer deposition membranes, and the preparation and modification of catalysts by atomic and molecular layer deposition.

Examines the laws of classical thermodynamics followed by physical transformations of pure substances, the thermodynamics of simple mixtures and chemical equilibrium. Applies thermodynamic principles to nonideal systems, phase equilibrium, chemical equilibrium, power generation, and refrigeration.
