Dr. Grabowski’s primary research interests are within the fields of human physiology, biomechanics, and mechatronics. Her research characterizes walking, running, hopping, sprinting, bicycling, jumping, sled hockey, and soccer, and investigates the physiological and biomechanical effects of implementing devices such as prostheses, orthoses, exoskeletons, weight support systems, and footwear on people with and without physical impairments such as leg amputation.
