  • Edward Dusinberre's performance activities are primarily as first violinist of the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Takacs Quartet that performs worldwide each year and records annually music CDs for Hyperion Records. In addition, Edward Dusinberre has published articles on Beethoven's quartets and is the author of the book, Beethoven for a Later Age, that was published by Faber and Faber and University of Chicago Press in 2016. His second book for Faber (UK) and University of Chicago Press (USA), Distant Melodies: Music in Search of Home, was published in November 2022. In 2021-2022, he is a Guest Artist at the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music, participating in a collaboration between composers at GLFCAM and Harumi Rhodes' violin studio to create new works for solo violin and violin duo.
