research overview

  • My research interests lie in increasing access to evidence-based mental health education and interventions with novel delivery methods. The large unmet need for mental health care and the related personal, medical and societal costs of uncontrolled stress and untreated mental illness, requires innovative approaches to reach more people. It is especially important to engage young people and the people who take care of young people during sensitive windows of development. My line of work is geared in particular towards peer delivery models for perinatal depression, and more recently has included a focus on Social Emotional Learning and mental health technology.
