Dr. Sara Avila is an economics instructor with almost two decades of experience teaching in-person and online. Her research interests are in the fields of environmental economics and teaching. She has worked on the topics of improving air quality, addressing climate change, improving urban transportation, and biodiversity conservation. She is currently working on research related with incentives for reduce energy consumption and messages in the online classroom.
