My research focuses on physical river processes (river hydraulics, hydrology, and fluvial geomorphology) with applications to stream rehabilitation, riverine infrastructure management and flood hazards. My research spans all scales of streams from understanding how restoring beaver wetlands influences headwater stream hydrology and sedimentation to how flow regulation from a reservoir impacts downstream river form and habitat.
