research overview

  • Dr. Ceko's research is focused on exploring brain mechanisms of aversive processing. She is particularly interested in applying predictive computational modeling approaches to fMRI, behavioral, and physiological data to determine brain processes underlying successful regulation of aversive experiences. The longer-term goal of this research is to develop brain and behavioral targets for individualized prevention and treatment of pain and related disorders.
