- Repenning is leading a large Computer Science Project in Switzerland. Dr. Repenning's goal is to bring computer science education to public schools. He has developed computational thinking tools and a computer science curriculum that have been used by about 1,000,000 students. He is currently funded by NSF with $2.0M and by private foundations including the Hasler Foundation Switzerland $3M. Partnerships with other organizations such as Code.org have provided huge exposure: 2017 during the one week of the Hour of Code event alone about a quarter million students participated in Repenning's tutorial.
