Introduces basic usage of Excel, Python, and R software programs. Includes overview of fundamental operations such as data input and output, arithmetic, graphics, and programming syntax; more specific operations such as algebraic functions, linear algebra, plotting, loops, conditional statements, statistics and data analysis. Students will complete a final programming project with one of the software programs. Recommended corequisite: APPM 2360.
