  • THTR 1050 - Introduction to Production Process
    Primary Instructor - Fall 2022 / Fall 2023
    All performance � film, theatre, dance, even theme parks and rock concerts � is supported by technical elements. Via lecture, hands-on projects and guest artists, this course will introduce student to the collective technical processes and personnel that make performances happen. At the end of the semester, students will begin to understand the collaborative roles that Designers, Technicians and Managers play in the support, production and enhancement of any performance.
  • THTR 1105 - Stage Technologies
    Primary Instructor - Fall 2019 / Spring 2020 / Fall 2020 / Spring 2021 / Fall 2021 / Spring 2022 / Spring 2023
    Introduces technical production elements and procedures, including materials, organizations, methods and equipment to realize theatrical scenery, properties, lighting and sound.
  • THTR 3149 - Professional Orientation: Exploring Professional Potentials for THTR & DNCE Major
    Primary Instructor - Spring 2023
    Explores and identifies a wide range of professional opportunities connected to personal strengths and interests in theatre and dance by studying current professional practices, trends and cross-disciplinary connections. Instructor will: provide information/learning needed from representative professionals; open avenues to find/create employment opportunities towards internship consideration/post-graduation; and mentor structured self-assessment/professional development.
  • THTR 4095 - Special Topics in Theatre Design and Technology
    Primary Instructor - Fall 2020 / Spring 2021 / Fall 2021 / Spring 2022 / Fall 2022 / Fall 2023
    Intensive study of specialized topics in theatre technology and design. Topics and credits specified in the online Schedule Planner. May be repeated up to 12 total credit hours within a term.
  • THTR 4149 - Theatre Internship
    Primary Instructor - Spring 2020 / Summer 2022 / Spring 2023
    Provides opportunities for theatre majors to explore career opportunities in theatre fields other than, or in addition to, those with performance emphasis. Students apply knowledge and skills developed in their major studies to a practical work experience. May be repeated up to 6 total credit hours. Recommended requisite: 30 credit hours in THTR.
