My basic research deals with estimation of static and time-variable gravity field of the Earth using satellite and ground-based observations. My applied research is about monitoring of water resources (such as groundwater and snow) using remote sensing observations from GRACE/GRACE-FO satellites as well as GNSS and InSAR deformation combined with physics-based and hydrological models. In particular, I am interested in quantifying and understanding the impact of extreme climate events such as droughts and floods on freshwater resources like groundwater.
