Research

research overview

  • My research primarily centers on studying the origin and evolution of the Earth and other terrestrial planets. This work involves the application of combination of applying novel micro-analytical techniques to interrogate the geochemical record of mineral assemblages in terrestrial rocks and meteorites with thermodynamic analysis and modeling of mineral stability in high temperature igneous systems.

keywords

  • petrology, achondrite meteorites, redox systematics of magmas, high-temperature magmatic phase equilibria
