Melissa Cantrell's research is focused on the shifting nature of the scholarly communication landscape, specifically in regards to open access and assessing the efficacy of different publishing models. In addition to providing resources and support for publishing, copyright, and fair use, she is interested in enabling new methods of accessing, sharing, and evaluating scholarship.
