Dr. Myers works in new materialism, post-human rhetorics, and critical, anti-racist pedagogy. As a teacher-researcher, his work emphasizes the ways that rhetorical theory informs the content of his classes as well as his pedagogical approaches to the classroom. Currently, Dr. Myers is considering the ways that classrooms interact with communities in physical, intellectual, and cultural dimensions.
