My principal research area is the dispersal of anatomically modern humans in northern Eurasia, with a specific focus on Eastern Europe, and Beringia. I am actively collaborating with colleagues at other institutions in the USA and in Eastern Europe, including the University of Kansas, University of California at Irvine, Russian Academy of Sciences, and Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
