In my case, there is a thin line between research and creative work. I do scholarly work in a number of literary fields, as listed above, but also teach and practice computer arts, writing (analysis, argument, fiction, and non-fiction, including creative non-fiction), and literary translation (which necessarily combines scholarship and writerly creativity).
