My research has focused on matters of accreditation for music programs, both pre-college and post-secondary, and in academic administration, entrepreneurship, and arts management. Additional research has also included becoming familiar as a generalist, with a broad range of music, including all classical music eras and genres, jazz, and traditional music of various western and non-western cultures. This research is general in nature, and associated with the responsibilities I had as Dean of the College of Music (1993-2013). My focus has now shifted from teaching applied piano and piano literature to administrative support for the College.
