  • Examines global environmental issues using sociological perspectives. A variety of critical contemporary challenges are explored that link social and ecological processes. These include the social dimensions of climate change, inequitable distribution of pollution, the environmental aspects of population growth, and resource shortages. Policies and strategies for change are explored. Degree credit not granted for this course and SEWL 2000.
