Explores the cultural history of Russia from the 9th century through 1917. Using visual presentations and reading of primary sources, we will examine closely those rulers whose actions had a significant impact on the development of Russian life, art, and architecture, such as Ivan the Terrible, and Peter I and Catherine II, the �Greats.� No knowledge of Russian required.
