  • Managing a geospatial project encompasses problem identification, project design, analysis and supporting team dynamics. The class mixes lectures and class exercises with student-selected projects and works through all stages of a project from articulating an initial idea to project planning and scoping, building a work plan, timeline and budget, executing the work plan and evaluating a project's progress. Recommended prerequisite or corequisite: GEOG 4103 (GIS Spatial Analytics) or with instructor approval. Same as GEOG 5503.
