Engages theories and practices of literacy teaching and learning that challenge multiple forms of oppression. Using the tools of queer pedagogy, students will learn, develop, and enact strategies for planning and implementing literacy instruction that moves beyond inclusion of differences in the English/language arts and social studies curriculum. Same as EDUC 5325.
