Examines the art of Native Americans, Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, Cuban Americans, Latin Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans and ethnic and cultural mixing. Grounded in Critical Multicultural Theory and Postcolonial Theory. Recommended prerequisites: ARTS 1300 and ARTS 1400 or instructor consent required. Same as ARTS 5217.
