Further exploration of techniques approached in ARTS 2085 and ARTS 3075. Students are encouraged to develop personal concentration in relation to ceramic medium. More advanced technical concepts are introduced such as slip-casting, mold making and glaze palette development. Research, reading and writing addressing contemporary ceramic art is required. Must be taken twice before registering for ARTS 4085 - Advanced Ceramics. May be repeated up to 6 total credit hours.
