Agnès Beaudry, an associate professor of mathematics at the University of Colorado Boulder, is one of 40 mathematical scientists from around the world who have been named fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for 2024, the society announced this month.
AMS members designated as fellows have made outstanding contributions to the “creation, exposition, advancement, communication and utilization of mathematics.” The society said it is pleased to honor the 2024 Class of Fellows, who are being recognized by their peers for their contributions to the field. “It is my pleasure to congratulate and welcome the new class of AMS Fellows, honored for their outstanding contributions to the mathematical sciences and to our profession,” said AMS President Bryna Kra. “This year's class was selected from a large and excellent pool of candidates, highlighting the many ways in which our profession is advanced, and I look forward to working with them in service to our community.”
