Towards the bidirectional learning goal between humans and machine intelligence, my research is centering around natural language processing and machine learning, which interleaves two research threads: (a) helping machine learning with useful inductive biases, including those inspired by human intelligence or task structures, and implicit ones from natural language. (b) helping human learning with machine intelligence, including linguistic structured prediction for structural learning, user modeling in collaborative learning, and dialogue management for interactive learning
